@ Derek Nickels - I am not sure where you are from but here in the U.S. most employers do a background check on new hires and a felony conviction may well disqualify someone. This is especially so if it is a violent crime. No one is saying that he cannot work as a waiter or a chauffeur just that he should not expect to have a position in the public eye as he is a very poor role model. If you were a sponsor would you really want someone more known for being convicted of a violent crime than for being a great driver representing your brand?
