I have an hypothesis about Felipe's season. When the car wasn't up to Ferrari's liking early in the season they decided to use Felipe for "in season testing" during the races. As the car Felipe developed got better, so did his results. And at the end of the season, the car he had developed suited him better than it did Alonso, thereby explaining how he was outperforming Alonso the last few races. Just a thought...
