@pole/hamster - how on earth can you come to the conclusion that Vettel's Monza victory in 2008 was a 'one-off'? He's gone on to win 26 races & 3 world titles! That Monza win heralded the arrival of a major talent.
Fangio drove the best cars. Clark had Colin Chapman by his side, Stewart had Ken Tyrell, Prost drove for McLaren & Williams at their peak, etc, etc.
But those guys got into those cars because they were recognized as being incredibly talented drivers, they'd proven themselves in lower formulas or junior F1 teams, as is the case with Sebastian Vettel.
Look, I'm not a major fan of Vettel but you can't escape the facts!
