Richard, I absolutely agree. Number of titles is an important factor, but it doesn't show the full picture. It's the easiest way to evaluate drivers according to the number of titles they won, but our world is much more complicated than that. Schumacher won much more titles than anyone else, but many consider Senna, Fangio or Prost as better drivers. Andretti and Mansell won the title only once, but they are F1 legends. Jaques Villeneuve was both an F1 and Indycar champion, but I have never seen anyone considering him as better than his father Gilles who has won nothing but few races in F1.
