A bunch of drivers have come back after not winning a race, some even years after their last race. As for Kamui, he's now something like 26 if I'm not mistaken so for him it's only a matter of hoping a Japanese manufacturer will come back (even as engine supplier) to F1 in the following years and then he'll be one of their drivers for sure. Of course he might have chances at other teams as well but all in all I'm pretty sure we'll see him back in F1.
I do think however that it would be wise for Kamui to do some racing in other categories eventhough he claims he's not interested in that.
