Matt, when and if KERS/ERS fail the THRU full power output of these engine will not exceed 600hp, and there is no way that this engine output (which some calls progress) can be used at will during a race because of the fuel restriction. It was at least let out by the FIA that the 2014 cars are intended to be 5 seconds a lap slower, what can that be called if not PROGRESS!.
