In an earlier post on this subject I have tried to explain why the FIA had felt the urgent need to drastically change the engine formula for formula one racing, but still some on here falls head first into the FIA trap of “FI is going green with at least a thirty five percent economy in fuel consumed”, The FIA ultra intense preoccupation (panic) at the time this new engine formula was conceived was solely aimed at eradicating the dependence on a handful of manufacturers that were able to and willing to produce an F1 engine as we know it than. GOING GREEN AND ECONOMY ARE JUST NOT COMPETENT WITH FI RACING.
