Newey has been involved with winning cars at different decades over the years that he has been in motor sport which cant be a coincidence. People must remember he is not in the business of making his car the fastest, he is in the business of delivering the best Aero package for his car, which results in his car being able to negotiate the bends, tuns and chicanes on a modern day F1 circuit better than the rest. Newey and Red Bull seems to get the balance between straight line speed and d/force better than the rest which has made his cars quicker over a lap while not being the fastest car.
