Lewis had an awful start to the year, but, even in Australia, was getting the absolute maximum out of the car every race. Button had the best car, for a while, and used it to his major advantage. However, the car soon went out of his narrow driving window...
They were pretty evenly matched, but I think Hami did a better job overall, but Button proved the people who though Hami was going to devour him very wrong.
Lewis shows signs of promise, but, overall, has a pretty bad year whilst his team-mate pulls off some great drives.
Jenson shows signs of promise, but, overall, admittedly, has a pretty bad year whilst his team-mate pulls off some great drives.
Hamilton will get the maximum out of that Mercedes, even if it (in all likeliness) is absolutely terrible by the end of the year. Button? I'm gonna hazard a guess that, with Perez having a similar driving style (smooth) that there will be little compromise in setting up the car to suit both drivers.
