Assuming that McClaren come up with a car that suits him then Button can do the job, but how likely is it that they can produce a car with the advantage that the Brawn had in the first half of 2009, not very likely in my opinion. They have produced fast but erratic cars thet suit at one circuit but not at another, they also have the problems of unrealibility and poor tactics to address. In addition they need to get Perez up to speed so my best guess is that Button will flatter to deceive once again with both the contructors and drivers championship being between Red Bull and Ferrari with hopefully Lotus and Raikonnen pushing them hard. The cream will come to the top and Vettel and Alonso together with Hamilton are the best in F1 and I don't think Button will get near to them on a regular basis unless he has a huge car advantage.
