I'm not sure that Warwick has thought about this very much. Just why should the government put money into something like this when we are in the grip of a huge Worldwide financial crisis. There job is to get us out of the present situation and ensure that this country moves out of this situation and starts to look to the future.
We have the people in this country to do the job he wants and I'm sure they will when the economy improves and there is money available to be spent. Until then motor racing like many other things will have to take a back seat. It is not important to the majority of the population and I'm sure there would be a huge uproar if Cameron suddenly announced that they were putting millions of pounds into backing Silverstone and young drivers at the present time.
