One thing I could never understand is why a lot of people say (I don’t read too much out of these tests/testing times means nothing), the main sores of this saying is the drivers themselves, but comes the first race results and they will be the first to say (these results are of no surprise, we know where we stood). To me testing is very important as it show where a team stands and what their weaknesses are. Teams can improve their cars with every outing, but the starting point does give an advantage and a disadvantage. So far so good, mclaren/FERRARI seems to be the fastest, RBR the most consistent but about the 2nd slowest in a straight line by about 10/15km/h, they seems to have lost some of their advantage by the new rules, Mercedes looks like being 6th fastest behind Sauber, the tyres problem of last year are still with them.
