I am well aware of the arrangements re the new engines, thank you Richard for pointing it out. But the fact remains that the point I was making was that it was not nesscessary to implement it now. In addition I cannot for the life of me see how having to design and build totally different cars is going to save anybody money. This has been pushed forward because it is seen to be doing "the right thing" and not because it is wanted or even nesscessary. Hopefully some more major manufactures will be persueded that it is in their interests to come in but with several such as Honda and Peugeot/Citroen losing money I don't predict a great rush
