sunny. every team relies on THEIR interpretation of the rules. others go about it by ignoring the rules. last year, the bulls were never found to be in breech of the rules as they stood and were written. however, macca deliberately breeched the rules, hoping it wouldnt be noticed, but were caught before it was used. the bent floor, and illegal exhaust materials.
the ddd, f duct and ddrs were all examples of teams (other than red bull) who interpreted the rules to suit themselves, even though they were outside the spirit of the rules, andall were allowed to continue their use.
i am all for innovation and interpretation of the rules as they are written.
if there is clarification needed, it is not the fault of the teams, but of the fia who seem to be unable to create watertight rules.
