I think there's a lot of baloney going on here. Yesterday the McLaren, on hards, was around a second down on the Ferrari, which was on softs, which is about the difference between the tyres so the McLaren is up there. The fact that Button chose not to do a quick lap on the soft tyres speaks volumes fpr me.
I have a feeling that Hamilton is down playing the Mercedes as well.
