An attempt to lighten up this fan boy ism, this is off topic but might interest these here newbie fan boys as well as the old timers. Yesterday February 23rd marked the tragic 2nd Cuban GP of 55 years ago. After Sterling Moss having overtaken Masten Gregory under the red flag after the tragedy, Masten Gregory to Sterling Moss, “now listen I was in the lead all that time” Sterling Moss, “well yes, but not when we passed the finish line”. Sterling Moss, “I know that the red flag had to be unauthorised one, so I said to Masten, look keep quiet, we’ll pool our money together and then split it, and that’s what we did, because otherwise it would have gone to the organisers to decide and it would be years before we got the money”. That was the time that was, it will never return.
