I think RB is just being diplomatic and it appears that Lauda and Wolff have a different agenda. RB has failed to get Mercedes to the front on a regular basis despite having two top drivers and a decent budget. Hamilton will have his work cut out to get wins this season but with the new engines for next season and new people in control Mercedes could be the team who benefit most from the new regulations. I think RB will play no part in that having been forced out by Lauda and Wolff. He is 60 or so and will be able to do a bit more fishing which I believe to be his preferred passion.
