brawns "success" in the past was due to having ...a driver, a designer, a team and himself.
at merc he only had a driver in his twilight years, and himself. no designer of note, no basic mercedes support, so he tended to be exposed. he was a good manager and tactician, but without the proper tools, he was lost. i am surprised that he has lasted this long, given the lack of results, but merc are now taking suitable steps to improve matters. a radio report this morning , stated that brawn was definitely leaving at the end of this season.
