It has of couse happened before, I can remember Davina Galica, Lella Lombardi, Desire Wilson, Giovanna Amati and before my time Maria Teresa De Fillipis so it is nothing new. However the likelyhood of somebody actually good enough appearing is remote and even if they did they would never get near a competitive car. Of course Bernie would love a woman to tout about for good publicity but there is nobody including Susie Wolff anywhere near good enough around at the moment. Danica Patrick was touted as a possible but we all know what happened to a lot of American men drivers who got into F1, they failed because they were simply not good enough, those who succeded like Andretti and Gurney were top league allrounders who drove everything with success. Patrick might have got a go but she was sensible enough to know that she could'nt succeed. I hope someone turns up but we could have a very long wait.
