Mclaren’s stand/strategy was decided upon/devised before the negotiations started and to me it looked like they stuck to their decisions, what mclaren were really doing was making things more expensive for Mercedes exactly like when bids at an auction are driven up intentionally without intending to buy.
Only a fool or a one eyed fan boy will try console his hurt/feelings by politically driven speak.
