Don't be too hard on Mercedes. It's there money and they have a right to spend it on what they think is the best way forward. Ross has had 2 years to deliver and last year failed badly. If he can get 2 or 3 wins this year and look good, he stays, if not, he's out. Mercedes have to plan for the best and the worst - they put up the cash, I hear paddy is doubling his wages (good for him!) so getting people with new ideas in early makes sense
