As far as I know McLaren builds a 'completely' new car every year. As long as they know far enough in advance which engine they will use the following year, I don't see the problem. I do agree that McLaren probably wont pay for engines if they go with Honda instead of Merc. Especially since the last Honda F1 engine wasn't exactly top of the line. At lea
