salan. there are other cars that are more than 2 secs off the pace. but dont forget, that was practice, and there were serious degradation problems with the soft tyre. in other words, race pace on mediums could result in a total change. and again, the ftd today will be bettered by 1.5 secs or more, in quali. there are a number of cars that can put in one fast lap on softs, but these softs had only one lap to perform, and even then, some were going off at the end of their fast lap. when the softs are used in the race, times will be nowhere near what was achieved today, as cars struggle to make them last. currently, i would not rule out any car in the top five teams, and i see that ferdi agrees!
