In very recent times a team was found out by the FIA of making use of the untie stall map system to memorise and mimic race starts, since than the rules has been rewritten so that all inputs will have to be made by the driver, the important things in race starts are the right amount of engine revs against the clutch bite point (kiss point) giving next to zero wheel spin (slip), when I come back I will explain how the clutch system works on a F1 car.
