"Hamilton himself could have lapped Peres if he had 2 to 3 more laps and Button if he had 4 to 5 more laps. How sad" The only thing sad is your mathematical skills! At the end of the race, Hamilton was 36.07 seconds ahead of Button which equates to 0.621 seconds per lap over the course of the race. Assuming Hamilton could keep this rate up and considering Hamilton's fastest lap was 1.29.759, it would take another 145 laps before he lapped Button. Hamilton supporters - not too bright!
