@ Jim Crint. ..it wasn't a puncture what caused his beaching at start of pit lane it was no rubber on the tyre! ..i wonder who made that call for him to stay out. .surely McLaren's finest was responsible for that whoopsy..it only cost him a world championship. .With Lewis, McLaren have been punching above their weight. unfortunately now, with Lewis and Co gone the proverbial wheels wheels will undoubtedly fall off. ..Jenson is a wise man so when he said before testing commenced that the latest car was miles better than the previous folks listened. .so I'm thinking here. .that wasn't Jenson's words but the words of McLaren. .just like his tv commercials for all who will pay are nonsense. .Can't blame Jenson, he spent most of his f1 years back of the grid with Honda. .so to say he wants to retire a McLaren driver hell why not. .the guy is thankful. ..
