SV has often used a strategy that involves qualifying P1, then streaking away at the start so nobody can use the DRS to pass him and he stays in clean air. I suspect that his car was configured in a way to support this (clean air) strategy and that may be why he was not as good as some others when he got caught in traffic.
With these new gimmick tires, drivers will be obsessed with conserving them. I predict fewer passes in the upcoming races if they are dry. Bring on the sprinklers, Bernie!
