McLaren makes a mess of Button pitstop - a repeat of last year - by this once professional team! Vettel ignored team orders in the final stages of the race. His win is somewhat devalued, as his team mate had "turned down" the power of his engine. Hamilton had a strong race tactically - but his team mate Rosberg was consistently faster, particularly in sector 1. The same situation as with Red Bull pilots occurred in final stages where team orders were applied. Mercedes team mates are likely to develop friction between them. Mercedes have made significant strides forward in Race trim performance, and are a candidate for WDC. Formula 1 remains more about a race against tyre degradation. In Australia, the Option tyre collapsed after 2-3 laps. In Malaysia, the Hard tyre seemed to have no more to offer than 10 laps. Hembury & Pirelli are arrogant beyond measure, and have contrived to wreck Formula 1, by manufacturing defective tyres.
