Hamilton pushed too hard, had little fuel left. If, and only if, there was an immediate threat from behind, I could understand why Brawn would want Nico to hold station. It's beneficial for the Constructor's Championship. BUT, there was no threat whatsoever and Rosberg was clearly faster and had proven (unlike Seb) that he could overtake safely with little consequence. Mercedes' decision was just as disgusting as Vettel's pettiness. Already establishing No.1 and No.2 drivers based on money rather than ability.
Respect for Hamilton though. His comments on the podium were fair and he's not a team orders kind of guy. He knew he was licked and basically admitted it on the podium.
