@richard, I think you will find your falsely quoted me, and I'm surprised you are so ardently defending Vettel's indefensible position .
@Observer, Hamilton short fuelled, used too much fuel and so would have been passed by Rosberg. I can agree with but, Hamilton's lack of speed was due to fuel saving and not anything else. Sure, Mercedes may be trying to protect face with Hamilton over this lack of fuel but, at this stage in the the team had nothing to lose to any rivals. I do not think Mercedes are trying to deliberately keep Rosberg back. If you're correct, I'd be the first to condemn them.
Without team orders , this discussion board would be half empty. I've always been against team orders but it's what the FIA and the teams want.
