So you have a certain number of engines per year. Both teams wound back the engines. Team orders to look after the cars.... If Vettle *had* to overtake why not do so on the straight for a risk free overtaking opportunity, but his opinion of himself is so high that he risked both team cars for his own ends. There was no one in contention for position except his own team mate. The man has no honour.
