Althought I am not in favour of team orders as a rule, especially his early in the season, team orders are still allowed and Vettel has benefitted from them on numerous occasions.
The radio calls were explicit. They had been free to race until the final pit stop. It was his duty as a very well paid Red Bull employee to avoid risk and bring his car home second. Had he hit Mark, as he has done in the past, the result would have been disasterous for the team. As it stands, he may have made an even greater mistake... things will get very frosty, support may not be there when he requires it in the future.
