That's exactly my point. A pit stop is so much more than just going in and leaving. You can't just switch off all intuition and just blindly ride the clutch. Sure he practiced he launch. Did he practice his contingencies when something went wrong? Did he practice paying attention to his surroundings? No....well he should have. In trying to gain 0.05s, he lost a couple of minutes.
