In regards to the argument that people are betting on the races one would have to be a fool to bet on F1 without taking into consideration the possibility of team orders coming into play.
While I do not like teams neutralizing the racing it is a bit different than forcing a driver to swap positions with a teammate. When you have teammates with a history of incidents and without trust or respect for each other it is only natural to try and keep them from going wheel to wheel.
