35edme. i cannot answer your question fully, but i will try as far as possible. fuel flow , usage, etc is all monitored by the pits. the cars do not have a fuel guage but all the parameters are entered into the pit computer. this can forecast what needs to be done to ensure that the car finishes with the amount of fuel required for testing. remember lulu having to close down his engine in quali, as the computer said that there would not be enough fuel to test? and then vettel arrived with too little fuel to test? merc relied on a safety car when fuel would be saved, and short fuelled lulus merc. he burnt up too much and had to slow down. contd
