Mclaren the team Whitmarsh included has always and will always do what they think they should do as they are not any different from other teams that’s apart from their/his shear hypocrisy, past examples as to when they at mclaren “were supposed to have been on top of their job” and “when they did have a clear preferred number one driver” are. Lulu disobeyed a direct team order by refusing to yield position to Alonso. The mclaren team principal with Whitmarsh as second in command in Shanghai (something that never ever happened in F1) “we (mclaren) were not racing Kimi, we were basically racing Fernando.
