In fact, after the pass Webber lost almost a second a lap to Vettel. After being able to open up a substantial gap after Vettel's "Get him out of the way, he's too slow" comment (whereupon his engineers told him what his lap target was, and he started hitting it), I have a hard time understanding how anyone would think that he could start losing a second a lap on fresh tires, which were (if memory serves) the harder compound that he preferred. I know your long history as a Vettel fan, but this is getting a little ridiculous.
