Alonso could easily have picked up a few points at Malaysia if they had only pitted him with the front wing- that was just stupid.
Then again, Massa has had his fair share of bad luck over the years. A happy Massa is as quick as Alonso I think.
If Massa is well ahead after a few races Ferrari would be mugs not to back him. But otherwise I'd expect Ferrari management to continue to back Alonso.
I very much doubt Ferrari would put up with an ambiguous situation like that at Red Bull.
