Alonso has had a slow start to his season, and Massa has pulled his finger out to be where he should be in one of the front running cars, near the front.
I think that in a few races time people will have forgotton this and Alonso will have re established his rightful position in the team by doing his job on the track.
That said, I am glad that Massa "is back" because I did fear for his F1 career right up till the end of last season. With paying drivers with big sponsors coming in, the paid drivers have to perform. Massa knows this as well as anybody, and if he keep up his current form, It will perhaps help him get a good midfield team place, rather than shown the exit when his time at Ferrari comes to an end.
