What I said was "By definition the car which wins the WDC is commonly called "the best car". So yes, by that definition you cannot win the WDC without "the best car".
You're not responding to that at all.
As for 1994/95, the Williams car were faster, but they were also unreliable and hard to drive. Fastest is not always the same thing as "best" - the McLarens were clearly the fastest cars of 2012 but I doubt if you'll say that Vettel won the WDC in "not the best car". Or will you surprise me?
