Like it or not, there were team orders at the time and they were ignored. You can't make excuses saying the top man doesn't want team orders anyway... That's irrelevant, they were in place and used during the race. There could have been any number of reasons for the instruction to hold station and bring the cars home, Vettel couldn't know what the consequences of ignoring that order may have been. So, team orders were ignored by someone who thinks he is bigger than the team (his comments seem to prove that point). There's not much point arguing over what should or should not have been, none of us were on the pit wall that day, so none of us know (no matter how self important some think they are). F1 is a team sport and it is the combined talents of those teams which deliver the spectacle we love to watch... No just our favourite drivers.
