@ Mayziedays - I totally see your point and agree with your rationale, but that is utopia. Drivers generally are egotistical, so more interested in individual success to satisy that ego and increase their market value. Obviously teams need to constructor points to pay for it all and justify the resources. So F1 represents cognitive dissonance when considered a team sport, a bit like if Russell Brand moved into the Waltons..
