"Can Ma return kick-start Chinese F1 interest?" No He managed to finish last in his first GP2 race after qualifying 19th and last in practice. He may have won a domestic 1.6 touring car championship but that is hardly likely to excite a nation. Autosport rate him number 2212 in the world - the lowest of any Chinese driver in any series. Alonso stirred up a nation by winning. Will the Chinese be excited and proud of a back end driver and flock to the barely used solitary F1 race track? I have my doubts.
