35. my comments are just pure fact. check timing charts available on official f1 site. vettel was behind webber trying to get past, and at that time (laps 25-28), he might well have been told not to try a drs pass, but as webber was holding him up (acknowledged by commentators) he asked for webber to let him by. he was told to hold station at 3 secs and be patient, which he did. at the same time, webber, lapping in the mid 42s was asked to speed up into the 41s! of course for a lap or two, vettels time would be the same as webbers, as he was on his tail! how could he have been faster at that precise point?? at lap 43 odd, vettel had caught up webber by 4 secs, and there is NO drs zone after the pits. and vettel had not been in a position to obtain electronic clearance for drs anyway. there was NO deployment of drs in their battle. webber could have stayed close enough to use drs when activated, but i do not know if he did.
