senna. as i said, the message was made on lap 28! and seb was told to hold station at that point, and to be patient. patient for what?????? the team were going to get him past webber during the early pit stops. nothing to do with lap 43 situation. a number of reputable pundits have agreed that webber was deliberately backing vettel into the mercs, and in fact it worked. he lost out to them at the following pit stop. it could well be that vettel knew this and that incensed him. and why do you think that the team were instructing webber to up his pace? it was to get vettel away from the mercs. but webber did not up his pace as requested.
