@Liam48 "...people that doubt Button (are) more recent race fans of F1..." Really? The reality is the opposite. Button's doubters are those who have been around long enough and will tell you that there was so much expectation on Button when he started his F1 career some 13 years ago. But Button won his first race only after 6 years and 113 races in F1, despite having driven for Williams, Benetton/Renault before joining BAR. Do you know who took his driving seat at Renault after he was let go? it was his test driver, a certain Fernando Alonso, who went on to win 2 WDC in the car with which Button could not even win a race. At Renault Button had a competitive car, but lacked the set-up skills to optimize it, by his own beliefs. Button had his career saved by Ross Brawn after he was out of a drving seat following BAR's exit. Brawn redesigned the car, switched engine from Honda to Mercedes and added a DD that gave the car an almost 2 second advantage over the nearest competitor, thus Butt
