"Should we see this as RBR finally succeeded in getting Pirelli change the tyre compounds?" Only if "we" are the same nutcases who thought that Red Bull sabotaged Mark Webbers car. Reality check - the soft tyres were widely condemned during and after China by the great majority of teams and drivers. The soft tyres are also dreadful publicity for Pirelli. The abiding memory which millions of people will take away from that so-called "race" is of cars struggling to make it to the finish line as their Pirelli tyres disintegrated beneath them.
