Button was just surprised that Perez finally decided to race him. He spent three years at Mclaren racing Lewis although losing to Lewis 2-1 over those three years and once while holding the WDC tittle. He is a driver who does not need or want team orders although can be sneaky as we saw at Turkey 2010 and will be ready for Perez the next time he decides to race him. Personally i enjoyed watching both the Mclaren boys race and i will always respect Mclaren for their policy on no team orders, as Lewis has raced and beaten two world champions under Mclarens racing policy and remains the only driver out of Vettel,Alonso and Kimi to race his teammate without team orders.
