Owem Hamilton - I'm guessing with things being re-worked a fair bit with the new ECUs and new cars coming in next year, they took on whoever said they could do it for the least amount of money. If 2013 was pretty much a continuation of 2012, I imagine the supplier would have stayed the same. I would suspect that beside the threat of losing the contract, they're also being financially penalised for not performing to the required level.
