firestorm. first of all, a lot of these figures are speculation , and bear no relationship to what a driver actually earns. secondly, flip is on a year to year contract and in light of current economic climate, it is understandable that he would be on a lower "salary". but as for ferdi, he is on a long term contract, and there would be NO reduction, thus proving that figures are haywire! button is on third year of a three year fixed contract, signed when he was wdc, so it is unsurprising that he is still showing at a good figure. not sure what he will get next year, though. whilst these figures are obscene, nobody knows what any driver earns, other than their respective taxmen. so little point in getting worked up over them.
